The Musicport festival was great. An amazing weekend of music, friends and a lot of plastic-kettle shaking! I walked miles around the Spa – a beautifully refurbished seafront venue – dishing out fliers and talking (a lot). And the whole time I was clutching a silver and green kettle…

But the effort paid off as the beautifully generous people donated a total of £329.95! That is an amazing amount, so thank you very much to everyone who contributed and gave warm words of advice and encouragement.

The weekend did inspire new ideas, taught some lessons and proved some points! I have a lot to build on for the next time I tackle a festival crowd.

Thanks again to everyone who is supporting this project.
