Bamako & Halifax
News from Bamako is mostly good – Amadou and the team are feeding and teaching 25-30 kids a day and the project is going really well.
But the price of staples – like rice – has shot up, doubling the food bills. When there’s nothing to eat a lot of the children are forced back out into the city looking for food and money.
So money is crucial at the moment .Anything you can do to help or spread the world will make a huge difference.
We got a bit more publicity this week in the Halifax Courier – a two page spread with lots of photos. Check it out here.
